Recruitment · interviews
Interview candidates in their own language.
Great candidates shouldn't be screened out by an interview in their second language. EchoVerb interprets your video interviews live, both ways, and writes up the notes, so you can assess the person and not just their English.
Why recruiters use it
- Interview in 30 languages without booking an interpreter for every call.
- Candidates answer in the language they think in, so you hear their real experience.
- Interview notes, the candidate's answers and your follow-ups are written for you, with a transcript in both languages.
- Works in Teams, Zoom and Google Meet: whatever your clients or candidates use.
Fair and transparent
EchoVerb announces itself to the candidate at the start and in the chat, and records only if you switch recording on. You decide how long anything is kept. For decisions about people, keep a person in the loop: EchoVerb helps you understand the candidate; it doesn't score them.
Questions
Will the candidate find it awkward?
Most candidates find it easier: they speak naturally and hear your questions in their own language. A traffic light shows when to pause for the translation.
Which languages are most used for interviews?
Polish, Romanian, Portuguese, Ukrainian, Spanish, Arabic and Turkish are common, and 23 more are available.
Can I keep a record of the interview?
Yes, if you switch on recording or notes. You set how long they are kept (30 days by default).
