Does anyone else need to install anything?

No. EchoVerb joins as a participant in Teams, Zoom or Google Meet. Your guests just hear and see it in the meeting.

Which languages?

30, including English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. A meeting can mix two of them.

Can I use it just for notes, without translation?

Yes. Choose recording and notes only, for every meeting or per meeting. The Notetaker licence is made for exactly that.

How accurate is it?

Very good on clear audio, and it learns the names of the people in the meeting. It is AI, so check anything critical. For medical, legal or court settings use a qualified human interpreter.

Where is my data, and who can see it?

Transcripts, translations and notes are stored in the UK (London). The meeting bot runs, and recordings are kept, in the EU (Frankfurt), or in your own storage if you choose. Speech recognition and the AI that translates and writes notes are provided by OpenAI and Anthropic, which process the audio and text in the US under contracts that don't allow them to train on it. Only your company sees its meetings, and members only their own unless shared. See our Privacy Policy and sub-processors.

Yes. EchoVerb announces itself when it joins and shows what it's doing on its video tile.

After each meeting, the recording, transcript and AI notes are written to your bucket and our provider's copy is deleted. Playback streams straight from your bucket. Use your bucket's lifecycle rules for retention.
